A little about me

me
My passion for writing began early. I was eight when I wrote my own version of Annie, I loved Carol Burnett as Miss Hannigan.  She inspired me to express myself. I went home that afternoon and wrote what happened to Annie after the happily ever ending. I always questioned, what next, what happens now? What if?  I am still asking the same questions. I love the writing process.
I was raised in Nova Scotia, a wonderful province to grow up, but I had other plans to visit and travel to other areas of the country and beyond.
After university I headed west. I lived in the mountains in Alberta for over ten years and working in the hospitality field gave me many and varied experiences to write about. With my love great of nature and the ocean, it was natural that I ended up on Vancouver Island. I moved to Tofino with my partner, Adam. In Tofino, I  became a member of the Clayoquot Writers Group. With the CWG my quest for creative expression through my writing was rekindled and I realized that creativity was in my blood.
I currently live in Victoria, BC and still working in the hospitality field, and dabble in other adventures as well, such as writing profiles for the Wise Women Network, and side freelance projects. Writing is in my blood and I want to share the great journey of creativity!
You can usually find me writing at Serious Coffee on Cook Street on Sunday’s, sometimes I’m there from 10am to about 1pm ~ Stop by and say hi. I love the energy that comes from creativity, being one with your passion is pretty special.
I invite you to join me in the creative process.
The one thing I will promise is to write. I can’t promise to be a daily blog writer, if I know myself, I’d say every week would be a good start.

Buon Giorno Marrion Ann – I’ve come across your wordpress article when looking for a ta-dah image. I’m doing some writing and would like to include that image of the ta-dah person.

Would I need your permission or is it free for anyone to use it?

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Peace Joy Love from Above.

    1. Hi Dorothy, I found the ta-dah image on Google, so I’m thinking it’s free for anyone to use. Please go ahead and copy from my page or maybe you will find some other fun ta-dah images on Google. Happy writing!
